Wind turbines harness the power of the wind and use it to generate electricity. The blades are forced round by the wind driving a turbine that generates electricity. This particular image includes the sun. Wind is actually a form of solar energy as, along with other forces such as the spinning of the earth, they are caused by the heating of the atmosphere by the sun.
